(Aka Subculture) The son of Cuban exiles, he was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Madrid, Spain. After receiving his degree in Semiotics from Brown University, he moved to Los Angeles. He has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Houston, Zurich, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Sao Paulo, Seville and Madrid. His work has been featured in Artforum, The New York Post, Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, El País, Blue Magazine, Access, Wired and other cyber publications. His web sites combine his dual interests in art and crime, and together receive some 40,000 hits per day. In 2000, he finished his book Killers on the Loose, published by Virgin Books. On his days off he plays music with the digital group Mr. Tamale.
