Anna Pinkas is a Swiss-born artist living in Brooklyn, NY. She uses a variety of media (from traditional animation, to web-based projects and interactive installations) to explore the tension between our analog and digital worlds. Her work often entails a complex series of translations between physical and digital that taunts the line between absurdity and whimsy. Anna holds a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and received her Master’s degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program. She teaches Media Arts and Technology at The Borough of Manhattan Community College / CUNY.
